WHAT DOES PAINTING MEANS TO ME?

"As an artist, my journey with painting goes far beyond the canvas and colors. It's deeply intertwined with my personal spiritual growth, healing, and transformation. For me, art is not just a creative outlet; it’s a bridge between the seen and unseen, a process that nurtures my soul and, I hope, the souls of others as well. When I paint, it feels like channeling energies that feel both personal and universal…energies of healing, balance, and expansion. Each brushstroke becomes a step in my own evolution, and through my art, I would like to share this experience, hoping that those who engage with my work, would feel similar healing energies".

Painting from the Spirit: Where Inspiration Flows

My process of creation begins long before any visible work appears. My inspiration always stems from a spiritual space that I feel connected to. Often, the paintings I create are already fully realized in my mind long before they come to life. It's as though they are waiting to be brought into the physical world, fully formed and imbued with the energy that I’ve felt during my moments of stillness and connection with the higher self.

I often find myself visualizing these paintings with great clarity. Colors, shapes, and movements appear to me as vibrant expressions of the energies I’m kind of channeling. The result is a painting that holds the energetic imprint of that moment in time, but also a visual representation of topics relevant to me which are healing, growth, and harmony.

Healing Through the Creative Process

The act of painting itself is deeply healing for me. When I stand in front of the canvas, it’s as though I enter into a sacred space. I lose myself in the flow of energy, and I can feel something shifting within me. It's not just about expressing my emotions—it's about transforming them. Each brushstroke carries the intention of wholeness and harmony. The energy I channel into my paintings feels often as a high-vibrational, often leaving me feeling rejuvenated and more connected to myself and the world around me.

The painting process becomes a mirror of my spiritual journey. With every new piece, I can feel myself evolving, shedding old layers, and embracing new aspects of my personal truth. This experience of healing through art is something I hope to extend to others. I believe that the energy visualized through my paintings can resonate with viewers on an energetic level. My intention is that the vibration of healing, expansion, and joy can be felt by those who engage with my art, allowing them to experience a similar sense of balance and renewal. I believe this energy is connected to the universal life force that spiritual traditions have long spoken about, whether you call it chi, prana, or ether.

When this energy flows through me, I feel as though I'm not just painting, but co-creating with something greater. My art becomes a vessel for this energy, a way to transmit the feeling of healing and well-being that I experience during the process. It’s my hope that when others look at my paintings, they too can feel this crawling energy, that sense of upliftment and renewal that comes from aligning with the energy of healing.

Bridging Vision and Reality: Painting from the Inside Out

Though the act of painting is physical, my creative process begins long before any paint touches the canvas. Each piece is already painted in my mind—perfectly clear, fully formed, and waiting to emerge. I see them with such clarity that it often feels like the only thing left is to transfer them from the spiritual realm into the physical world. My visions are not just mental images, but they’re tied to deep emotional and spiritual experiences. The emotions I feel at the time—whether they be peace, joy, or healing—are embedded in these visions, and that’s what I seek to express on the canvas.

When I finally take up my brush and begin to paint, I’m not just translating these visions into form. I’m also reliving the emotions and energies that shaped them. It’s a process that allows me to feel grounded, centered, and connected with my inner self. I paint with intention, allowing the energy of the vision to guide my hand and trusting that the final piece will carry the same energetic imprint as the one I first saw in my mind.

The Infinite Well of Creation

One of the most beautiful aspects of my creative process is the feeling that there is no end to the inspiration. Because my paintings originate from a deep well within—a place of spirituality and connection—I often find that I have more visions than I have time to bring to life. I could paint every day for weeks, and still, new ideas would flow. There’s an infinite source of creative energy within me, and it’s constantly ready to be tapped into.

I don’t experience creative blocks in the traditional sense because my art doesn’t come from external inspiration but from within. As long as I stay connected to my spiritual practice and my inner self, there is always something new waiting to be painted, something new ready to emerge. Each painting is a new opportunity to heal, to grow, and to share that healing energy with others.

Art as a Healing Gift

My goal as an artist is not just to create visually liked works, but to offer something more profound—something that can evoke healing, balance, and joy in those who experience it. I believe that art has the power to transform, not just visually but energetically. When you stand in front of a painting that was created with the intention of healing, it can shift your energy, your emotions, and even your outlook.

I hope that my paintings carry with them the same healing energy I experience while creating them. Whether someone stands in front of one of my triptychs or sees a single piece, I want them to feel that high-vibration energy, that crawling sensation of renewal and lightness. In a way, each painting is a meditation, a visual representation of my own journey of healing and self-discovery, and I invite others to share in that experience.

Through my art, I seek to offer not just beauty, but a healing presence—a reminder that we are all connected, that we are all evolving, and that the energy of creation is always available to us.
