From my African heritage, I learned the importance of resilience, rhythm, and mindfulness—qualities that continue to influence my creative expression. My short time in the countries of the former Yugoslavia, especially Bosnia and Herzegovina, deepened my understanding of community and made me realize how fragile a country with a rich and complex history can be. Living in Germany introduced me to the fascinating intersection of modernity, progress, and tradition. In my Zambian and Montenegrin roots, I feel an unspoken connection to both the earth and the cosmos—an invisible thread that ties me to something far greater than myself. This deep bond is grounded in the understanding that everything is interconnected, and we are part of something much larger than our individual selves.
